Hypnobirthing courses
Hypnobirthing is a birth preparation method for couples, complementary to other antenatal preparations, in which we address the mental and emotional aspects of pregnancy and birth.
Through this method, we will observe the beliefs, fears and expectations you hold and transform them into ideas that help you develop a full, positive awareness of your pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Although it takes place during pregnancy, hypnobirthing is a life-long learning that will restore your confidence in yourself and in your capacity as a complete being capable of creating and giving life.
Does this mean I will have a natural birth? I am sorry to say, not necessarily — hypnobirthing courses (like any course) are not a guarantee of a natural birth. The moment of giving birth is one of the most magical moments in a woman's body precisely because we can never, ever know how it will unfold. You may want a natural birth and end up having an emergency caesarean; you may plan a scheduled caesarean and end up giving birth in the taxi. From A to B there are a million paths. This course will help you understand and accompany your body through the birth process, but above all to MANAGE EXPECTATIONS.
Just as we know how to breathe, we know how to give birth. Through this course you will be able to recover the memory your body already holds for birthing and reconnect with your inner feminine wisdom.
How and when are these courses held?
ONLINE FORMAT - Price €150
Three sessions via Zoom, approximately 2.5–3 hours each. In the weeks before the course starts, you will receive by email a course dossier containing the most important information and the exercises we will carry out in the sessions. During the course you will take home a full battery of resources for pregnancy and birth, as well as material you can use throughout your pregnancy and on the day of birth.
Course dates are set once the group is closed. Communications are via email.
IN-PERSON FORMAT - Price €300
Three in-person sessions in the Málaga area. The duration is slightly longer than the online format, approximately 3–3.5 hours. In the weeks beforehand, a physical dossier will be sent to you to have during the course. Just as with the online format, you will receive material by email after each session that you can use from that very moment.
Course dates are set once groups are closed. Communications are via email.
